Serral Is the Champion of DreamHack Masters 2020 Summer Season Finals
The Finish Zerg player Joona "Serral" Sotala has outplayed the Korean Protoss player Cho "Trap" Sung Ho to become the champion of DreamHack StarCraft II Masters 2020 Summer: Season Finals. The winner received $12,500 in prize money and 300 ESL Pro Tour points, while the runner-up claimed $7,500 and 200 points.
Serral started the competition in Group A, where he placed first after defeating RiSky (2-0) and INnoVation (2-1). In the quarterfinals he outplayed TY (3-1), while in the semifinals he defeated Cure (3-0). The final series concluded with the 4-2 score.
The event was held online between July 17th – 19th, featuring 16 players from all over the world competing for a $57,000 prize pool and EPT Global Points.
