Ninjas in Pyjamas and Vikin.gg Eliminated from OGA Dota PIT 2 Europe/CIS

The things are getting hotter at OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe/CIS, where two teams have already been eliminated, and another three teams will leave the tournament later today.

The first two teams to leave the competition are Ninjas in Pyjamas and Vikin.gg. NiP, who played with Andreas Franck "Cr1t-" Nielsen as a stand-in after parting ways with their former in-game leader Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev, lost to Alliance (0-2) in the upper bracket and to VP.Prodigy (1-2) in the lower bracket. Meanwhile, Vikin.gg were defeated by OG (0-2) and FlyToMoon (1-2). In the final map of the series against FTM the team’s midlane player Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan experienced technical problems and the team was forced to finish the series with only four players.

Today the event will start with the second round of the lower bracket, where OG will face VP.Prodigy (10:00 AM UK Time), and Natus Vincere will take on FlyToMoon (1:00 PM). The upper bracket finals between Alliance and Team Nigma will begin later at 4:00 PM. The day will conclude with the third round of the lower bracket, which is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM.

OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe/CIS is being held online, featuring a $170,000 prize pool. The event will conclude on July 30th with a best-of-five grand finale.
