Mousesports: Woxic out of Active Roster, Replaced by Bymas
Mousesports are making changes in their CS:GO roster – the team’s long-time AWPer Özgür "woxic" Eker has been removed from the active roster, replaced by Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras, who joined the team this month as a sixth player.
The organization explained the decision by the team’s unsatisfactory results – at the still ongoing ESL One Cologne 2020 Europe the team placed last after losing to Natus Vincere (1-2) and MAD Lions (0-2) in the group stage. Earlier this summer the team also placed 13-16th at cs_summit 6 Europe and 5-6th at BLAST Premier Spring EU Showdown, which is extremely poor results for a team that used to be one of the strongest in the region just half a year ago.
The team will have to try to reorganize and improve their performance in a very short order, as already next week they will start participating at ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe. There they will compete in Group B alongside Astralis, Complexity, FaZe, Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Spirit and Team Vitality. Their first match against FaZe is scheduled for September 2nd, 8:00 PM UK Time.
