MIBR and Hard Legion Removed from IEM New York Line-Up

ESL have officially confirmed that MIBR and Hard Legion have lost their places at IEM XV – New York Online – earlier Valve ruled to reset their RMR points due to bug abuse by the team’s coaches. Chaos EC will replace MIBR in the North American division, while HellRaisers managed to win a tiebreaker against iG International and secured last place in the CIS league.

Besides that, ESL revealed that three teams – Swole Patrol, Yeah and Gen.G – have withdrawn from the tournament due to roster issues which occurred after roster lock. Two of the slots were granted to RBG and Rebirth, while the last participant of the North American division will be announced later.

IEM New York will be held in Europe (Oct 6-11), North America (Oct 6-18), and CIS (Oct 13-25), with $140,000, $60,000 and $50,000 at stake respectively. The list of participants looks as follows:

  • Europe: BIG, Complexity, FaZe, Fnatic, G2, Vitality, Heroic, OG
  • North America: Evil Geniuses, 100 Thieves, Liquid, Cloud9, FURIA, Chaos, Triumph, Team One, NE Whalers, RBG, Rebirth, TBA
  • CIS: Spirit, Natus Vincere, Nemiga, Virtus.pro, Gambit.Y, ESPADA, Winstrike, K23, forZe, Ethereal, Cyber Legacy, HellRaisers
