Los Angeles Guerrillas Part Ways with ACHES
Although the transfer period in Call of Duty League is already over, Los Angeles Guerrillas have officially parted ways with Patrick "ACHES" Price. The two-time world champion has been on the bench for the last four months.
26-years-old ACHES joined LAG last October as the team’s first player. The team had a rough start of the season, and in March the organization decided to bench ACHES alongside Andres "Lacefield" Lacefield and Renato "Saints" Forza. Although Saints eventually returned to the starting roster, both ACHES and Lacefield have not played a single official match since then.
ACHES, who earlier managed to become World Champion twice – first in 2014 with Complexity and then in 2018 with Evil Geniuses – will not be able to compete for the remainder of the 2020 season since he left the team during the roster lock. The player will miss the annual world championship for the first in his career.
Currently Los Angeles Guerrillas are placed last in the regular season of Call of Duty League. The league’s playoffs, which will feature a $4,600,000 prize pool, will begin on August 19th.
