Line-up for ESL One Thailand 2020 Americas Revealed; EG Are not There

ESL have revealed six teams that received direct invites to the American division of ESL One Thailand 2020. Among them are CR4ZY, Quincy Crew, beastcoast, business associates, 4 Zoomers and Thunder Predator.

The last two participants of the event will be determined through the closed qualifier. It is scheduled for July 31st – August 2nd and will feature four teams, such as Infamous, Plasma Vitaplur Gum and two winners of open qualifiers, competing in a double-elimination bracket.

It is worth noting that the line-up does not include Evil Geniuses, one of the strongest teams of the region. Earlier they also withdrew from OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Americas. Meanwhile, the team is listed among participants of the European OMEGA League. Recently the team’s offlaner Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, who has not been playing for the team since March, revealed on his stream that the team will have a new stand-in for the middle lane. In the last few months the team has been competing with Eric "Ryoya" Dong, as the team’s official position 2 player Abed Azel L. Yusop is currently in Philippines and cannot compete due to high ping.

The main event of ESL One Thailand 2020: Americas is scheduled for August 8th – 30th and will a $65,000 prize pool. The event will also be played in Asia – there 12 teams will compete from August 20th to September 6th for a $135,000 prize pool. The region’s line-up has not been revealed yet.
