Heroic Qualify for IEM XV – Beijing Online

Heroic have become the final participants IEM XV – Beijing Online: Europe after defeating Sprout (2-0) in the lower grand finals of the closed qualifier. They have joined Team Spirit, who qualified for the event earlier through the upper bracket.

North started the qualifiers by defeating Endpoint (2-0), however then in the semifinals lost to Team Spirit. Later in the lower bracket they outplayed Ulluminar Gaming (2-1) and Endpoint (2-1). In the finals North defeated Sprout at Train (16:13) and Dust II (16:4).

Earlier Team Spirit qualified for the event, making it all the way through the upper bracket – there they defeated FATE Esports (2-0), North (2-0) and Sprout (2-1).

The European division of IEM XV – Beijing Online is scheduled for November 6th – 22nd and will feature 16 teams competing for a $150,000 prize pool and ESL Pro Tour points and one invitation to IEM XV – Global Challenge. Besides the qualifiers winners, the event’s line-up includes the following invited teams: Astralis, BIG, Complexity, ENCE, FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Heroic, MAD Lions, mousesports, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG and Team Vitality.
