The Brazilian squad FURIA Esports has placed first in the North American division of DreamHack Masters Spring 2020. In the grand finals of the event they outplayed Team Liquid, securing $40,000 in prize money.
The final series of the event concluded with the 3-0 score. Thanks to making it through the upper bracket, FURIA Esports had a one-map advantage for the grand finals. They managed to outplay their opponents at Mirage (16:13) and Vertigo (16:5).
The last few weeks have been extremely successful for FURIA Esports. First, they placed 1st-2nd at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Showdown, and later qualified for the 12th season of ESL Pro League.
