FLASHPOINT Season 2 To Take Place this November in London

It has been revealed that the second season of the CS:GO league Flashpoint is scheduled to take place this November in London, UK. While the final dates have not been announced, we already know that the event will be played in a studio format without live audience.

Contrary to the first season, this time the league will not have a LAN-qualifier due to travel restrictions – instead, two teams will receive direct invites, while the final two participants will be determined through online qualifier, which will most likely involve only European teams. The rest of the line-up will consist of the teams-founding members, which are as follows: Cloud9, c0ntact Gaming, Dignitas, Team Envy, Gen.G Esports, MAD Lions, MIBR, and FunPlus Phoenix.

More detailed information on the second season is expected to arrive in the coming few weeks. It is to be recalled that the league’s first season was held on March 13th – April 19th and featured a $1,000,000 prize pool – initially it was held at FACEIT Studio in Los Angeles, however later the competition transitioned to online due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
