FaZe Win at IEM New York, Claiming First Champion Title in 8 Months
FaZe Clan have outplayed OG in the grand finals of the European division of Intel Extreme Masters XV – New York Online. The final score of the series was 3-0 – FaZe managed to outplay their opponents at Mirage (22:20), Inferno (16:5) and Dust II (16:11).
On their way to the grand finals, OG and FaZe Clan placed first and second in Group B respectively. Later in the semifinals FaZe defeated Team Vitality (2-0), while OG managed to beat Fnatic (2-1).
For FaZe Clan, this victory is their first major achievement since this February, when they placed 1st-3rd at BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season – since then the team has been struggling to achieve high places at the events.
