CS:GO Receives a Smaller Update with Various Fixes
Valve have released a smaller update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive that contains various fixes. Among other things, the update fixes visibility problems with the smoke effect and improves client stability. The full list of changes is below.
Patch Notes
- Fixed some rendering artifacts related to boosted player contrast on players inside or near smoke grenade volumes.
- Fixed short player chat tokens sometimes getting translated.
- Fixed a regression with audio device selection setting.
- Fixed infrequent random crash.
- Nuke: Fixed bombsite target on B site starting its fade early.
Earlier last week Valve added a new video setting “Boost Player Contrast”, which significantly improves players’ visibility, especially for far distances.
