CS_Summit 6 NA: EG Defeat Gen.G to Advance to Upper Bracket Finals

Yesterday Evil Geniuses outplayed Gen.G Esports (2-0) at cs_summit 6 Online: North America, advancing to the event’s upper bracket final. There they will face Team Liquid, who earlier defeated 100 Thieves (2-1).

Today 100 Thieves will face Gen.G Esports in the elimination match, which will begin on 11:00 PM UK Time. Recently these teams faced each other twice – first Gen.G defeated 100 Thieves at ESL One: Road to Rio NA (2-0), and then 100 Thieves outplayed Gen.G at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 NA (2-0).

The upper bracket final between Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses is scheduled for July 3th, 11:00 PM. Last month EG defeated Liquid twice – first during BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Americas Finals (2-1) and then recently during the group stage of cs_summit 6.

The event is also ongoing in Europe, where Team Vitality and BIG already advanced to the upper bracket finals. Both divisions will conclude on July 5th.
