APEX Legends: Season 7 to Introduce New Map, Legend and Clubs
The next seventh season of APEX Legends begins already next week, on November 4th. Among other things, the game will receive a new map, a new legend, and a Clubs system. Besides that, the game will become available on Steam.
The new map is called Olympus and described as “a beautiful, lush city in the clouds”. It is rumoured to be the biggest map in the game – to help players to traverse the map faster, it will have some sort of a fast-travel feature called Trident. The new map will be used for the first split of the season, while the second one will be played on World’s Edge. The game’s first map, King’s Canyon, this season will not be available in the ranked mode.
Although the developers have not yet revealed the ability kit of the new legend, they have shared a story video about her – an astrophysicist that has mastered the gravity.
The update will also add a Clubs system and a new Battle Pass called Ascension. The game will also become available on Steam – players from Origin will be able to carry over their progress to the new platform. Meanwhile, the port to Switch has been pushed to 2021.
