APEX Legends Season 6 to Introduce a New Legend and Crafting

Respawn Entertainment have released a video teaser for the upcoming season in APEX Legends. Among the biggest additions are the new legend called Rampart and a new crafting system.

The new legend is described as an “expert modder”, and based on the teaser can deploy a protective wall that also increases outgoing damage as well as can use a special turret called Sheila. Although the specifics on the crafting system were not revealed, we know that players will be able to collect materials across the map to create new gear.

The sixth season is called Boosted and will launch on August 18th. As usual, it will feature a new Battle Pass and mark the start of the new ranked season. The developers also announced the addition of a new weapon Volt – an SMG that uses energy ammo. Besides that, the video teaser hints at the major map changes for World’s Edge.
