Team Vitality Win IEM XV Beijing: Europe
Team Vitality managed to reverse sweep in the grand finals of IEM XV Beijing: Europe against Natus Vincere – after losing the first two maps, the team confidently won the following three ones. The team received $60,000 in prize money and qualified for IEM XV – Global Challenge.
Vitality started the event in Group A, where they outplayed Team Spirit (2-0), lost to FaZe Clan (0-2) and defeated MAD Lions (2-0). Later in the playoffs the team managed to beat Heroic (2-1) and Complexity (2-0). In the grand finals NAVI emerged victorious at Nuke (16:5) and Dust II (16:12), while Vitality defeated their opponents at Overpass (16:6), Inferno (16:9) and Mirage (16:8).

Thanks to this victory, Team Vitality became the third member of IEM XV Global Challenge, a $500,000 event scheduled for December 15th – 20th. Earlier their places at the event secured Heroic and FURIA Esports.
