G2 And NiP to Compete at WePlay! Valorant Invitational

The Ukrainian tournament operator WePlay! has announced its first VALORANT event – WePlay! VALORANT Invitational. The event is scheduled for July 15th – 19th and will feature eight teams competing for a $50,000 prize pool.

Among invited teams are G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, forZe, Prodigy, Fish123 and PartyParrots. The final two participants will be determined through the open qualifiers, which will take place on July 13th – 14th.

The main event will begin with a groups stage, where all groups will compete in a GSL group. Top four teams will advance to the playoffs, which will feature a single-elimination bracket.

The event is part of the VALORANT IGNITION SERIES, a series of third-party tournaments supported by RIOT Games. This month the series will also include the following events – Vitality European Open (July 10th – 12th, EMEA), PAX Arena VALOTANT Invitational (July 22nd – 26th, NA), ORDER Oceanic VALORANT Open (July 22nd – 26th, OCE), and Mandatory Cup (July 31st – August 2nd, EMEA).
