Fer to Stand In for BOOM Esports

BOOM Esports, who last week benched João "felps" Vasconcellos, have found a stand-in for their CS:GO roster – Fernando "fer" Alvarenga will join the team for the upcoming LAN-event FiReLEAGUE – Global Finals.

Fer is a 29-years-old Brazilian player, who became a free agent earlier this month after the expiration of his contract with MIBR. He was part of MIBR from 2018, however this September he was benched alongside Epitácio "TACO" de Melo and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo. Earlier Fer said that he wanted to continue playing with FalleN; however, it will not be possible until his release from MIBR.

FiReLEAGUE – Global Finals is scheduled for December 13th and will feature three teams competing for a $70,000 prize pool. Besides BOOM Esports, the line-up will feature two winners of regional qualifiers.

BOOM Esports:

  • Gustavo "yel" Knittel
  • Bruno "shz" Martinelli
  • Ricardo "boltz" Prass
  • Fernando "fer" Alvarenga (stand-in)
  • Alessandro "Apoka" Marcucci (coach)
