CS:GO Update Improves Performance in Trusted Mode
Tonight Valve have released a smaller update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which is aimed to improve the way in which the game interacts with the third-party applications in the recently released Trusted Mode. The list of changes is as follows:
- Fixed performance issue caused by third party applications repeatedly attempting to inject into CS:GO.
- Fixed crashes caused by third party applications injecting into CS:GO.
Trusted Mode is a new launch setting that is aimed to combat cheating. The feature is enabled by default and forbids unsigned third-party applications to interact with the game’s client. The mode was released last week, since then the developers also solved the issue with framerate drops caused by some third-party apps.
